Buy One -Get One Free / Part 4 (final)

Okay, so here are some images of the papers.
I only took pics of the full sets but as you can see from the first image, I have a big pile of single sheets, pretty much covering most of the Stampin'Up!'s designer series papers from the past couple of years ;-)

I have full packs of Summer Starfruit and Gumball Green cardStock (one of each) and the other retired colours are sold either as single sheets (10c/sheet) or as a whole stack 0.50-2 dollars per stack, depending on the amount of sheets

The designer series paper stacks are 5cad per pack or you can buy single sheets for 10c/sheet

I stamped!!!!!

Well it's about time!!

I was finally able to clear enough space on my desk that I got to use my stamping supplies.

I have been waiting to use this stamp set for SO long.
I ordered it already in May, hoping that my husband could mail it to me, when I was In Finland. Nope, it was on back order.

So FINALLY when I got back home, I wanted to use this set as quickly as possible, but since there was not even an inch of free space on my desk, I had to put my dreams aside

But today I was able to clear the space!! I have now sorted all the retired stamps, punches, ribbons and embossing folders/ framelits and was able to move them out of the room.

The base is Sahara Sand, the larger white piece is Watercolour paper, which was brushed with Soft Sky and Sahara Sand inks and the top piece is Naturals White card stock stamped with same inks using Work of Art stamp set (funny how the stamped Sahara Sand is SO much darker... And it is from the same ink pad!). The birds from Wetlands stamp set are stamped with Early Espresso.

LOVE IT!!!!!

Cannot wait to get more cards made. I should also place my Holiday Catalogue order, but first I have to sort through my papers.

And remember, the 'BUY ONE - GET ONE FREE*'event is next Saturday, September 13th from 11am until 2pm!!!

I will be posting some pictures of the items available by early next week.

*you get the retired products (some gently used) for FREE, when you place an order from the current Stampin'Up! Catalogues for the same value (before taxes and shipping)

And I have 5 months mail to go through and file too!!

And it seems my craft space has been invaded.....

So once ai get this sorted, expect to see some more postings (crafting related) here ;-)

Birch bark basket

We are enjoying the heat wave at the cottage. It is just too hot to stay in town.

While here, me and my mom have been crafting with burlap and birch bark.

Here is a basket I made with birch bark.
Don't let the image fool you. It's only 2"x2"x2"

I think it actually was harder to make in this size (larger would have been better), but I didn't have enough bark at that point to make it any larger

I have now done some wider straps, but hurt my fingers in the process so could not do the weaving yet :-)

Here are the burlap flowers we made for my mom's wreath.

Today we are heading back to town. Next task is to plan my sister-in-laws baby shower!
