Last batch of Xmas cards

This was another stamp set I loved to use.
The first card was cased from Peg Coombes. I loved the use of the partial images of the Santa stamp from Santas Stache set

The second card was cased from Alvins Cook using the same Santas Stache stamp set
I like the nutcracker stamp set better, it is more 'balanced' so it is easier to center on the card

Row of Holiday Homes

Here is one more card created with my this season's favourite stamp set 'holiday home.
What I did I adhered all the 3 houses on one acrylic block and stamped them few times on the card front, then used the snow flakes from the same set and the reindeer sleigh. The nice thing with the photopolymer stamps is that you can bend them - that's what I did with the greeting

The colours are Soft Sky, Baked Brown Sugar and Real Red

Ornamental pine Christmas cards

These wee inspired by Cynthia Millan's cards but since I had no iridescent ice embossing powder I had to improvise. The first card has some dazzling diamonds glitter on the branches. The edges have been sponged with early espresso

The second card is otherwise the same but without the glitter

Gingerbread houses

Here is my little village of gingerbread houses I made this year.

The small ones were inspiroi by something I saw on Pinterest. They are to hang at the edge of mug (filled with hot coco). They didn't turn as nice as I planned. I should have paid more attention to the size of the parts and also use icing to assemble them instead of melted sugar. Also I opted to buy coloured icing this year - NEVER AGAIN!!! It is too runny! I had to freeze them and still they kept running. So maybe next year we get a prettier batch :-)

More Xmas cards

Here are couple of the Christmas cards from last weekends card class

The first one is done using Work of Art stamp set, Garden Green ink, golden Encore ink and gold embossing powder and a star punched out from champagne glitter paper.

The second card is based on Soft Sky and using washi tape and embellishments. The image is stamped with Silver Encore ink and embossing powder

I'll be posting more ideas in the next few days.

Oh and wait until you see the Spring Occasions catalogue and sale-a-bration catalogue.... Oh my!!!!
