Butterflies and gold

The new occasions catalogue has some great new thinlits dies. One of them has three different sized butterflies. This card is using the middle sized one. This design was cases from Bronwyn Eastley.

I layered the Dooley with a piece of Designer series paper (cannot recall which...) and fancy foil designer vellum

I used the brushed gold cardStock as my card base and cut the butterfly from Bermuda bay card stock

Great tip for getting all those bits out of your cut out butterfly and your die is to first run your die on it's ow through your BigShot but instead of cutting thorough paper, cut through 8 layers of unscented drier sheets!! This will coat your die so bits won't get stuck (and if they do, just run your die through again and the bits will stuck on the drier sheets, you can use your sheets multiple times and you can turn them inside out to get more cutting area. If your bits get stuck on your cut out image, just run that (without the die) through with drier sheets and out they will pop!!
