Digital challenges; Chalkboard Art

This is my latest creation with My Digital Studio. I created this both for Simply My Digital Studio "Chalkboard Art" challenge and www.mydigitalstudio.net "Divided Page" challenge. I think it covers both challenges perfectly.

I have been really focusing on the digital design lately - I need to get back to the basics and start creating "old fashioned paper art" too :)

Questions? We've Got Answers
Why are we offering Paper Pumpkin?
Paper Pumpkin is the perfect introduction to Stampin' Up! We designed it for crafters that want to create a project each month, but aren't quite ready to build a stamp collection (yet).
How does shipping work with Paper Pumpkin?
Your Paper Pumpkin will be automatically shipped to you each month (so fun!). Because we are auto shipping these, the pricing structure is slightly different from other Stampin' Up! products.

Dude, You're Welcome!

This "Dude, You're Welcome!"-kit is such a GREAT idea from Stampin'Up! There have been several situations where my Dear Husband needs a card and runs to me and I have nothing ready for that purpose (or they are too feminine to his liking. So this is in the mail, as we speak - my husband's FIRST own stamp set!!! I'm looking forward receiving his personal creations :-)

The cost of the kit is $34.39CAD (plus shipping and tax), but if you order it through my web-site, the preferred price is $30.95CAD.

What are you waiting for?? Valentine's Day is just around the corner :)

And don't forget to check the great video Stampin'Up! has created on this product

My new Sale-A-Bration Blog header

I just love EVERYTHING about this header!
It's using the very current hexagon pattern which is from the My Digital Studio Lemonade Stand Digital disk - available only during sale-a-bration, and as a sale-a-bration item. The banner is just various banners from "Pinwheel Parade kit" and the "sale-a-bration" sign is from Travel Log -set.

I love My Digital Studio - why? you get to use so many retired products that are no longer available in regular paper and stamps, but are always available in digital format :)

If you want to see the newest digital downloads available from Stampin'Up!, just visit Stampin'Up! online store. They post new downloads EVERY Tuesday! This week my favourite must be the "Family History Photobook Template"

Simply My Digital Studio - DSP challenge

This is my take on Simply My Digital Studio (check on Facebook) Designer Series Paper challenge. I don't like too busy pages but I tried to add several pictures and colourful pattern papers on my page. I still need to get used to it :)

Valentine's Day Card Class

I just LOVE the new supplies Stampin'Up! has available for this spring. I'm not used to all the Valentine's Day hoopla, but I could not resist the new More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper (that's why 3 of my cards have paper from that set :) And I did make one less girly version too :)

The class is on Monday January 14th (yes, month before Valentine's Day). But wait, if you cannot make it then - I have an other class coming on February 11th, when you get to do Valentine's Day cards also. They will be easily altered to work as Birthday cards also.

Hope to see you there - remember: RSVP by the previous Friday!

My Digital Studio - December downloads

Franconia Notch

This is my latest My Digital Studio page I created. I love the Woodpress lettering - and it works perfectly with the pictures from our last summer trip to Franconia Notch in New Hamshire.
I loved that place! It was a very hot summer day, but the forest is nice and cool - very refreshing! I wanted to jump into the little streams and pools of water!

My Digital Studio 2, Travel Log page

Visiting Baseball Hall of Fame
One of my ALL TIME FAVOURITE stamp sets was Travel Log and I'm so happy that it's available in digital format so that I can use it with my digital scrapbooking :)

This page uses the pre-made layout from that set - I simply changed some of the colours and added my pictures.

Simply My Digital Studio Challenge - Text on Path

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013!!!

updated version (with snowman removed)

original version (with snowman)
Well.. this is actually several challenges in one project. The main challenge is to add text on path. The secondary challenge (an older one) was to include arrows in the project. I have used both arrows and chevron pattern (which to me counts as arrows... right??) and the 3rd challenge (which I failed!!!) was to colour "in" a stamp. Well.. I did colour "in" my snowman (hat and nose), but did a VERY poor job on that.

But otherwise I'm very happy with the end result.
The pictures were taken yesterday (New Year's Eve) at Chateau Montebello (Quebec) where we (my husband and his parents) enjoyed a VERY nice lunch buffet and walked around the building enjoying the beautiful architecture.
